Before acquiring with his partners Apprentice Personnel in January 2011, Will Temby worked for the University of Colorado Foundation and served as the President and CEO of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce from 2000 to 2007. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 20-year career in leadership positions in the hospitality industry throughout the U.S. with the Hyatt, Sheraton, Hilton, Renaissance and Steamboat Ski and Resort corporations.
Will is a Past Chair and of the Pikes Peak Workforce Development Board and currently the Parent Chair of the Academy School District 20 (ASD20) District Accountability Committee. Among his volunteer activities in ASD20, he served on its Growth and Capital Needs Committee, Co-Chaired in 2016 the Yes on 3A Citizens Committee that successfully promoted the passage of a $230 million bond issue for essential capital needs for the district, and currently is a member of the School Accountability Committee for Rampart High School.
His past volunteer leadership experience also includes being a Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Homeland Defense Foundation, Colorado Springs Leadership Institute, Colorado Springs Diversity Forum and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation. Additionally, he is a former member of the United States Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 and was the first Chairperson of the Steering Committee for the Colorado Competitive Council–a coalition of economic development and chamber of commerce organizations from around the state of Colorado devoted to making Colorado a business-friendly state.
Will received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is married to Nan, has five wonderful children, and enjoys traveling, golfing and skiing.
